This week I shared a serious idea with a silly name. "The Hazelnut Theory" is the name I have given to an observation I have made time and time again on teams and in the workplace.  "Hazelnut" appears when a leader has eroded trust. This is a problem in the workplace for sure.  Perhaps just as bad though, is the spread of negativity from team member to team member every time a leader makes a decision. If we criticize every decision, forever unable to assume positive intentions from our leader, we can never grow. 

On this short episode, I call for you to identify the "The Hazelnut Theory" when you see it in your life, then work towards eliminating it.
